Creating opportunities for youth success.

UPMDCC seeks to establish collaborations among community residents, community-based public and private non-profit agencies, as well as federal, state, and local governments in support of efforts geared toward building stronger families and drug-free communities, leading to improved youth wellness in the 21st Century.

UPMDCC, as a Drug-Free Community Coalition primary responsibility, is to:

  • Establish and Maintain a Drug-Free Community Coalition
  • Reduce “Underage Drinking” by 10%
  • Reduce Illegal Marijuana use among youth by 10%

UPMDCC works to create safer communities where children have opportunities for a bright future by developing solutions that build resilient youth, strengthen families, transform struggling communities, and build pathways to economic opportunity with the family, community, and youth-serving agencies.

UPMDCC, in partnership with THE LIBERTY CITY PROTECTING YOUTH PARTNERSHIP, represented by seven partners (Abundant Living Health and Wellness Resulting Services, Inc. Belafonte Tacolcy Center, Community Youth Against Violence, Heal Grow Thrive Liberty City, Hosanna Community Foundation, Inc., Sons of Little Haiti, Inc.
